Pagani is renowned the world over for building some of the most incredible cars. Currently the Italian specialist marque has the Zonda F in production as both a coupe and roadster but has been planning to build a race version called the Zonda R. The Zonda R has not made it into production (yet) and remains a 1:8 scale model but design cues have been used to manufacture a road-legal version of it, which will be called the Pagani Zonda Cinque.

The Pagani Zonda Cinque, which translates as Zonda Five because there will be only 5 built ever, takes an already breath-takingly fast car to yet another level.

There is no official word from Italy yet, but we expect the power plant to remain similar to the Zonda F since we can't see how much more power can come from this 6.0 liter, 12 cylinder, 750 hp engine. Sources say that the price tag will be around the million Euro mark thanks to some aerodynamic alterations to the Pagani, the Zonda F can be yours for a mere Euro 800,000.

Recently caught at Nürburgring sporting a new chrome accented grille, full LED headlamps and oval exhausts tips, the Audi R8 V10, which according to the leaked engine product document, will produce 525hp (386 kW) from its 5.2 liter engine. The normal R8 V10 launches in June 2009 while the Spyder in March 2010, both with the R-tronic sequential gearbox.

The Beira – from Norfolk-based company Breckland - is a hand-built, two-seat roadster.

It’s powered by a General Motors (GM) 6-litre LS2 V8 engine, more commonly found in Corvette and Pontiac GTO models, and also has a GM chassis.

The Beira is designed to run on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as well as petrol, which the manufacturers say will make the car easier on the pocket.

Running costs

Breckland director Mike Rawlings said: ‘We wanted to showcase Breckland’s design and engineering capabilities and produce an exciting driver’s car, with excellent handling dynamics, terrific performance and great looks.

‘We also looked seriously at environmental concerns and, as a result, the Beira is designed to run on Liquefied Petroleum Gas as well as petrol.

‘This not only helps to reduce running costs and emissions, but also means Beira is capable of a range of some 700 miles between refuelling stops - that’s the equivalent of travelling non-stop from the north to the south coast of France.’

Custom-built interior

The Beira features a custom-built interior, including electric windows, air conditioning and airbags in the steering wheel and passenger dash.

The central instrument cluster also includes a 7 inch TFT colour-touch screen, DVD player, direct iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, and an in-built 30Gb hard disk drive (HDD) navigation system with full European mapping.

The car will be available from November. The on-the-road price has yet to confirmed but is expected to be in the region of £55,000.

The all new Lincoln MKS has not yet arrived in US dealerships but 8,600 customers have vowed to buy the new Lincoln flagship sedan. Almost two-thirds have opted for the Ultimate Package MKS since it made its official debut at the November 2007 LA Auto Show.

The reason the orders have flooded in so early on is because Lincoln has used a new marketing direction for this new model, namely that the marque revealed pricing and options at the cars debut rather than closer to its sales launch. “Many lease customers want to compare monthly payments before they decide on a new vehicle, it made sense for us to provide them with detailed pricing and incentives so that they could make an informed decision before the vehicle arrives in dealerships this summer," said Pei-Wen Hsu, Lincoln MKS marketing manager.

"The MKS is an all-new vehicle for the Lincoln brand, and it's a game changer for us," said Michael Sprague, Lincoln Mercury group marketing manager.

The Lincoln MKS is powered by a Lincoln-exclusive 3.7 liter V6 engine producing 275 hp and is estimated to do about 17 miles to the gallon of premium gasoline. Features include SYNC, Easy Fuel Capless Fuel Filler System, SecuriCode Next-Generation Keypad, premium THX-certified audio system, 20-inch wheels, heated rear seats and voice-activated navigation system with SIRIUS Travel Link.

Just as the TT Clubsport was the precursor to the TT-R, wouldn't it be nice if the recently revealed Audi A3 TDI Clubsport quattro Concept was the precursor to the RS3. Such a vehicle is certainly not possible, as we already know Audi produces only one RS model at a time and that schedule is filled for the next several years with the RS6 in production right now and the RS5 launching in 2010. However, such pessimism doesn't stop veteran member, HKS786, of WCF partner site CarSpyShots.net from making a nice computer rendering of what it could look like. By simply removing all of the distracting graphics, two-tone color scheme and inserting the big Audi mesh grille from the RS4, we can now view the car as a whole with its re-styled front fascia and wheel arch flairs.
